Overview of the Role 🔍
The Technical Assistant is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the hotel's facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are safe, functional, and maintained to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities 📋
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel's facilities and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform electrical maintenance, including inspections, installation of equipment, and monitoring of electricity consumption.
• Carry out plumbing works, including the maintenance and repair of water systems, drainage, hot water systems, and pipework.
• Undertake painting and varnishing works to maintain the property's appearance and standards.
• Complete required maintenance records, report non-routine issues to the Supervisor, and implement corrective actions.
• Minimise material wastage and ensure the proper use of tools and resources.
• Participate in training programmes and comply with all health, safety, and company procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile 🎯
• NTC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Welding, Painting, Masonry, or a related trade.
• Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a maintenance role, with practical knowledge of maintenance and repair works.
• Basic proficiency in both English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively.
